A brief intro to your hosts....


James and Judi have lived in Lockton for twenty five years, having fallen in love with a rather dilapidated cottage, with a barn in the garden and potential to realise a dream

James is from a long farming background and Judi is a qualified Riding Instructor.
They have five daughters.

They previously lived near Wetherby in West Yorkshire and came up to Lockton to start a long distance Riding Centre with guests staying with them and enjoying their hospitality and homemade wine!
They made a great success of this family business, even appearing on television twice, on "Wish you were here!"
In 2000 they "retired" and turned their energies to the barn, gradually updating and refurbishing it to the high standard it is today.
