Welcome to Lockton, a small village on the edge of the North York Moors.

Lockton lies approximately ¾ mile from its sister village of Levisham on the edge of the moors and dates back to the Domesday Book.

The Little Barn at Lockton

The Little Barn nestles in the courtyard of Ivy Cottage, a 17th Century Grade 2 Listed building. It has a 3 Star ETB rating, and sleeps 2-4 persons. Offers lovely oak-beamed character but with modern day comforts. It has a lounge, fully fitted kitchen, shower room, gallery bedroom and ground floor bedroom

It is a cosy and peaceful retreat, flanked by two farms, in the quaint moorland village of Lockton. A stunning venue for those who will enjoy exploring the dramatic hills and valleys, coastline and cliffs, villages and resorts which make up this fascinating and unique National Park.

There are two excellent inns within a mile, "The Horseshoe" at Levisham and "The Fox and Rabbit" at Lockton. Both offer meals at lunchtime and evening and are highly recommended. There is also a shop in the village called "The Pantry", which stocks almost everything!

The Little Barn is NO SMOKING accommodation.
